About the Conference
The DiscussIT Conference is being held for the fifth consecutive year, it brings together leading companies from Croatia, the region, and globally. This year, we have taken it a step further, expanding the conference to two days and relocating it to the seaside, in the beautiful city of Pula. Two inspiring days dedicated to cutting-edge technology, meaningful networking, and, of course, great fun in an exceptional setting.

Location and Accommodation
We have moved the conference to Pula, a beautiful Istrian city with a rich historical heritage. Accommodation is organized at the Park Plaza Histria**** and Grand Hotel Brioni Pula**** hotels, and all conference participants will benefit from special discounted rates during the conference. After completing your conference registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link for accommodation booking. Register today and secure your place.
Agenda
The presentations will focus on security and digitalization. We will demonstrate how new technologies make a difference through real-life examples, and we will also discuss security and the socially responsible use of IT. Human contact, meeting in person, and conversation still have no real substitute, and the best proof of this will be the evening party we are preparing as the highlight of the first Conference day. You can also look forward to an engaging keynote presentation that highlights why we must remain cautious. And of course, we haven’t forgotten the prize draw, if you stay until the end, you might just be our lucky winner.

Notice on the Processing of Personal Data
With this notice, we would like to inform you how Combis d.o.o., Radnička cesta 21, 10000 Zagreb, as the data controller, processes your personal data for the purpose of participation in the DiscussIT conference.

The data we collect is used exclusively for contacting you regarding your participation in the conference and for issuing a physical accreditation during registration at the DiscussIT conference, and will not be used for any other purposes. Additionally, for the purpose of promoting and documenting the conference, the event will be photographed and, if you can be identified in the photographs, such photographs will constitute processing of your personal data. The data collected in this way will be retained for no longer than 6 months, while photographs will be retained for the period relevant for the promotion of the event, and for no longer than one year.
The legal basis for processing your personal data is Article 6. paragraph. 1. point (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation¹ (processing is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests), and you have the right to object to such processing if you believe that there are no compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject. You have the right to:
- access your personal data
- request the correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data
- withdraw your consent at any time, if you have given it
- where applicable, object to data processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest
- request the deletion of data in certain cases
- request the restriction of processing in certain circumstances
- the right to data portability
