In addition to the title Little Red Riding Hood that is joining the collection “Fairy Tales in the Digital World,” a new charity campaign and book sale is being prepared for St. Nicholas’ Day in Zagreb.
The company Combis is organising a new charity campaign on Wednesday, 6 December 2023 at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Zagreb, from 2 to 7 pm.
Combis employees sold picture books from the collection “Fairy Tales in the Digital World”, created in cooperation between Combis and the Centre for Missing and Abused Children.
This is already the third annual holiday gathering to sell the newest fairy tale in the collection: after the fairy tales The Three Little Pigs, The Ugly Duckling, and Pinocchio, the popular story Little Red Riding Hood will now be released. This story, like the others in the “Fairy Tales in the Digital World” series, also comes with a workbook section that addresses the topics of online challenges and dangers, for both children and parents to work on together as they learn about the digital world.
“The holiday period is the ideal time for gifting traditional picture books to children that tell an important message. I would like to invite all those near the Hilton Hotel in Zagreb on this feast day of the patron saint of children to join us in our #GetInvolved initiative to educate the public about online dangers, thus contributing to shaping a safer future for our children,” said Maja Markulin Klarić, director of Digital Innovations at Combis.
The price of each storybook is EUR 6.62, and some are already available on the Centre web shop. All proceeds from the sale of the storybooks go to the Centre for Missing and Abused Children. The charity event also included an educational children’s play, and fun and games are planned for children from 4 to 7 pm.
