For the fourth year in a row, all female employees of Combis get to enjoy a day off on 8 March to celebrate International Women’s Day.
“We are proud of our projects in our #GetInvolved initiatives, including the very best one, a day off for all female colleagues. International Women’s Day is certainly an additional opportunity to show all our female colleagues just how much we appreciate them and their work. Women often need to work much more, both at work to prove themselves, and at home without pay, which is often taken for granted and under-appreciated. We want that to change, and as a small change, we have introduced the practice of enabling all women to take the day off for Women’s Day, to become more aware that they have the right to some me time, enjoying things that make them happy and relax them, not only on this day, but in general,” said Maja Markulin Klarić, director of Digital Innovations and Market Development at Combis.
A day off for women is part of the #GetInvolved initiative for a better Combis and a better society. As part of this project, Combis is also involved in charity and volunteer campaigns, with the aim of giving back to the community.
