A good climate for digitization
Klimaoprema d.d. is a technology-production company that implements high-tech solutions in the field of HVAC and a complete service of engineering and cleanroom systems for clients around the world. Clean, sterile spaces require specific conditioning and air quality. They are used in hospitals, operating rooms, intensive care units. Sterile conditions are also necessary for the production of medicines, vaccines, other pharmaceutical products or microelectronics.
Challenge
By continuously developing high-tech solutions for its clients, by expanding into competitive foreign markets, Klimaoprema also aimed for development “from within”. Existing sophisticated business and production processes required a safe, centralized and agile way of cooperation between experts both inside and outside the company. The mentioned requirements have crystallized into the need to modernize employees’ workplaces, in terms of collaborative practices in the daily work of professional staff.

Solution
The starting point of the project is the Combis Digital Advisory Adoption & Change management methodology, the primary goal of which was to raise the awareness of organizations about the advantages that new tools bring to everyday work and understanding the principles of collaboration, that is, understanding the importance of active participation of each employee within the new tools.

And what do employees say?
A survey conducted among employees after the project implementation shows:
- More than 90% of respondents believe that Microsoft tools have modernized daily work and collaboration within the organization
- The majority of respondents (>80%) believe that Microsoft Teams has improved team communication
- >80% of respondents use online meetings, channel conversations, document sharing within Teams, and Teams chat every day
- Almost half of respondents (46.6%) believe that using Microsoft tools saves them 60 minutes or more on a weekly basis
- 70% of respondents believe that using Microsoft tools saves them 30 minutes or more on a weekly basis
- The majority of respondents (more than 50%, i.e. more than 90% with a neutral response) are satisfied or extremely satisfied with project deliverables such as the timeliness of project communication, prepared educational materials and trainings, and the services and support provided during the implementation of new tools
